What actually costs money

Making a QR code is free and always will be, because a static code costs us nothing to keep working. What you pay for is the code that stays editable and counted.

Free covers more than most paid tiers

Unlimited static codes, every payload type, the full style panel, PNG at any size, and the readability check. One re-pointable code as well, so you can see for yourself what the paid part actually does before deciding.

One hundred dynamic codes, month to month

No annual lock-in, which is worth saying because most of this market advertises a monthly figure that is only available if you pay for a year up front. Cancel and your static codes are untouched — they never depended on the subscription.

Questions

What happens to my dynamic codes if I stop paying?

They stop redirecting and a scan returns a "this code is no longer active" page. Nothing is deleted, and re-subscribing brings them straight back. Static codes are unaffected for ever — they do not depend on us at all, which is exactly why they are free.

What is the difference between a static and a dynamic code?

A static code has its content baked into the image — the link, the Wi-Fi password, the contact card. Nothing can ever change it, including us, and it works for ever with no server involved. A dynamic code holds a short Leumas link instead, so you can change where it goes after it is printed, and every scan is counted.

Can I generate a lot of codes at once?

Yes, with a membership. One call takes a list and returns a code for each. A malformed row never fails the batch — you get every other code plus a named failure.
